That'll give you a rough idea - the current rate of pay for a recruit is $2663/month (from http://www.cmp-cpm.forces.gc.ca/dgcb-dgras/ps/pay-sol/pr-sol/rfncmr-mrfr-eng.asp, which is the authoritative source for pay rates).  You can ballpark the current deductions based on that using the post you found.

These numbers will be slightly different based on where you are, if you are married, etc. As a recruit 5 years ago in Borden (paying Ontario income tax) who was single and only having deductions for R and Q, tax, EI, CPP, and RPP my paycheques were about $678 after tax, etc every 2 weeks. However at that time Private incentive 1 pay was $2484 per month, barracks was $82 (for a room with 3 other people) and rations were $ 397 (versus the $500ish they are now) Hope that sort of gives you an idea.
