Very Nice Memorial In Mallorytown, Ontario
« on: February 19, 2007, 07:06:16 »
While driving back from my trailer last summer north of Brockville, I happened to take a back way to get on to the 401 and passed through this small village called Mallorytown. The nice little roadside memorial to the local war dead was very moving and I had to turn around and get some pictures.
A sign directs you to the plaque and behind it there is a tree for each honoured veteran with a white cross in front of it.
Kudo's to the Legion and the local citizens........ :salute:
